Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp cornstarch
  • 8 tbsp water
  • 12 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 60 grams of all-purpose flour
  • 40 ounces beef broth
  • 20 ounces chicken stock
  • 8 medium-sized potatoes
  • 2 packs of mozzarella cheese
  • Pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • The right amount of oil
  • Enough water for soaking







Method of Making French Fries:

  1. Cut the potatoes to a thickness of approximately 1 cm
  2. Put it in a bowl and soak it in cold water
  3. Leave it for about an hour
  4. Heat the oil in a wide and large skillet
  5. After that, drain the soaked potatoes on a piece of paper
  6. After the oil is hot, put the potatoes in the cooking oil and cook until the potatoes are cooked, but not yet brown
  7. Remove the potatoes and heat the oil over high heat
  8. After the oil is hot, put the potatoes back in and cook until they turn brown


Method of Making Sauce:

  1. Put the cornstarch in a small bowl, then dissolve it using water
  2. Put the unsalted butter in a pan which is still heated over medium heat
  3. After it melts, add the all-purpose flour and cook for about 5 minutes while continuing to stir
  4. After changing color to a golden brown, add beef stock and chicken stock. Then, stir using a whisk and cook until it boils
  5. Add half of the diluted cornstarch and simmer for one minute
  6. If the dough is not very thick, you can increase the cornstarch a little at a time until you get the desired consistency
  7. Give bonus pepper and salt according to taste


Method of Making Poutine:

  1. Put the fried potatoes into a large-sized bowl and add a little salt while still warm
  2. Stir until all the potatoes are seasoned with salt
  3. Pour the hot sauce over the fries until it covers most of the surface of the fries
  4. Give small pieces or grated mozzarella cheese on top
