Turkish Beef Kebab Recipe

Dalgano - Turkish Food | For those of you who are culinary fans, you may already be familiar with the name kebab. As a type of processed food with Middle Eastern flavors, this dish is actually quite loved by various groups of people in almost all parts of the world.

Ingredients for the meat filling for 5 servings:

  • 250 grams minced beef
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 10-gram breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 egg (25 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cooking oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • A pinch of nutmeg powder
  • Pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/ 8 teaspoon black pepper

Kebabs Ingredients:

  • 195 grams of medium protein flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of baking powder
  • 40 ml Oil
  • 90 ml of warm water
  • Other Ingredients:
  • Lettuce, sliced
  • Tomato, Slice
  • Tomato sauce
  • Mayonnaise





Method of making:

  1. Make the meat filling, mix all the ingredients until smooth (you can use a food processor), form an elongated round, wrap in plastic, and put in the refrigerator for 1/2-2 hours.
  2. Heat the meat in a frying pan with a little oil until the entire surface is browned.
  3. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes (180 degrees Celsius). Let it cool, then slice it.
  4. Make kebab skin, combine dry ingredients until smooth. Add oil little by little while continuing to stir, then add water.
  5. Keep stirring until smooth (you can use a mixer on high speed again for 1 minute, then low speed for 1 minute)
  6. Form dough into 8, round, flatten, cover, and let stand 15 minutes.
  7. Roll the dough into a 20 cm circle.
  8. Heat in a frying pan without oil for 1 minute, turn over, cook another 20 minutes.
  9. Place the kebab skin on a plate. Fill with meat, lettuce, tomato, sauce, and then roll-up.
