Lapola Rice Ingredients:

  • Coconut (slightly young, grated lengthwise), 1 piece
  • Tolo beans (cleaned, soaked overnight), 500 grams
  • Clean water, 1200 ml
  • Pandan leaves (torn), 2 pieces
  • Rice (clean, wash), 1000 gam
  • Salt to taste



How to Make Lapola Rice:

  1. Boil the tolo beans until they become soft and then. Lift.
  2. Next, boil the water together with the pandan leaves until it boils, then adds the cleaned rice and cook on low heat until cooked and then lift.
  3. After that, mix together the rice that has been processed earlier and the boiled tolo beans together with grated coconut and table salt, then stir until evenly distributed.
  4. After everything is mixed, then pour it into the pot and steam for 1 hour until it is fully cooked. then lift and pour into a container.
  5. Then cool the rice by the fan and stir gently so that the rice feels fluffier.
  6. Lapola rice is ready to be served.
