Ingredients:

  • 700 grams. Skirt steak (trimmed flank pulp), cut into 10 cm strips, then slice 0.6 cm thick through the fibers.

  1. Season the steak with salt and pepper. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, serrano pepper, sugar, and lime juice until sugar is dissolved. Add beef, stir until meat is covered in liquid, set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat until boiling, about 1 minute. Add beef and cook, stirring occasionally, until cooked through, 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove the meat from the skillet and set it aside. Let the liquid sit in the simmering saucepan and simmer for about 4 minutes. Add the garlic and green onions and cook for another minute. Add mushrooms, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add peas (or green beans), corncobs, and bell peppers and continue to cook until vegetables are savory and tender about 2 minutes. Put the meat back in the pan and add the vegetables.
