Ingredients

Dumpling leather

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 768 grams of wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 354 ml of warm water

Pelmeni stuffing ingredients

  • 1 kg ground beef
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 tbsp ice water
  • 2 tablespoons of ground pepper


How to make Russian pelmeni

  1. Put the eggs, vegetable oil, and salt in a 250 ml measuring cup and stir. Add enough warm water.
  2. Put it in a bowl and add the flour little by little. stir until the mixture is mixed. Cover with a cloth and let sit for 30 minutes.
  3. Stuffing: Mix minced meat with onions, water, salt, and pepper. Stir with hands or a fork until smooth.
  4. Dust the pan with medium flour. Spread some of the dough very thinly. Round with a diameter of about 57 cm.
  5. Place half a teaspoon of meat in each bowl of pelmeni. Then glue the two ends. Repeat this until the materials used are used up.
  6. Then store in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  7. Put water in a saucepan with a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Add frozen pelmeni. Cook for about 5 minutes until the meat is tender and the pelmeni float. Remove and save. Pelmeni can be served immediately or fried in a little oil until browned.
