Recipes Soka Crab North Kalimantan Culinery
Soka Crab

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams soka crab, wash and cut into 2 parts
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 150 grams of wheat flour
  • 2 chicken eggs
  • 100 ml water
  • 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • The right amount of oil

Sweet Sauce Ingredients:

  • 6 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 10 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon cooking vinegar
  • 2 spring onions, cut lengthwise
  • 1/2 carrot, peeled and cut lengthwise
  • 4 tablespoons of peas 100 ml of water
  • 4 teaspoons cornstarch and dissolve with water


How to make Soka Crab:

  1. Make a mixture of ingredients including flour, cornstarch, garlic, pepper powder, salt, and sugar, mix well. Add the eggs and water to the mixture, then stir until evenly distributed. Add the cleaned crabs to the mixture. Set aside.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan then salutes garlic and onions until fragrant.
  3. Add the other ingredients, namely, tomato sauce, sugar, and salt, mix well.
  4. Slowly pour in the water while stirring and wait for it to boil. Add vegetable ingredients such as peas, carrots, and leeks, cook until only half cooked.
  5. Pour the cornstarch solution into the dish, then cook until thickened. Before removing, add the vinegar first, stir then set aside.
  6. Fry the soka crab that has been given flour until dry and cooked. Once cooked then lift and serve on a serving plate.
  7. Finally, you pour the sweet and sour sauce on it. Serve while still warm.
