Dalgano -  Recipes Japan  This fried tofu soaked in tentsuyu sauce is a classic Japanese dish. The soft, savory taste of tofu is soaked in a light savory shoyu sauce with a sprinkling of fragrant and savory katsuobushi.

Material:

  • 1 egg tofu/silk tofu, cut into pieces
  • 100 g cornstarch
  • cooking oil

Sauce:

  • 250 ml water
  • 50 ml mirin
  • 50 ml shoyu
  • tsp Honda


Complementary:

  • 2 tbsp grated young ginger
  • 2 tbsp grated radish
  • 2 tbsp kastuobushi
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped scallions


How to Make Agedashi Tofu:

  1. Sauce: Bring all sauce ingredients to a boil. Lift.
  2. Coat the tofu pieces with cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Fry in hot oil over medium heat until dry. Drain well.
  4. Place the fried tofu in a bowl.
  5. Pour the Sauce. Give Complement.
  6. Serve immediately.
